Do you struggle with balance? Are you wobbly at times? Do you feel unstable when you rise from a chair? Can you get down to the floor and back up again? Per the CDC, falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults ages 65 and older. The age-adjusted fall death rate is increasing—don’t be a statistic! Falls are not an inevitable part of aging, and many are preventable through various balance training strategies. Join HAC instructor Christine Armstrong, certified personal trainer, RYT 200, Therapeutic Yoga teacher, and retired physical therapist for a four-week balance series. This fun but challenging course will keep you safe and stable. You’ll learn strategies for improving your balance and ideas you can easily do at home, helping reduce your risk of fall or injury. NOTE: Drop-ins are not permitted. Participation in the full four-week program is required to fully benefit from the content.

This class is focused more on stretching and mobility exercises and less focused on traditional cardio. NOTE: Drop-ins are not permitted.
