Masters Adult Swim Fit Program

The Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics Masters (MLAM or “Masters”) program at Holland Aquatic Center is a recreational and competitive swim program for adults ages 18 and up.

Whether you have recently learned to swim or have been a swimmer your whole life, you are welcome to join us. You will find a positive, supportive, and welcoming community here! Participants can choose to compete or simply focus on improving their skills alongside other like-minded swimmers.

Our Approach

MASF is technique-based, and our training philosophy emphasizes quality yardage over high volume.

You can expect a holistic coaching approach with individual attention provided to all athletes. We will help you develop the physical, technical, and mental skills needed to enhance performance and develop love of the sport. Skill development is further supported through observation, feedback, and video stroke analysis.

Most practices begin with dryland work, emphasizing swim-specific exercises that reduce the risk of injury and develop core strength, flexibility, and power.
