1:1 Nutrition Consultations at HAC
Sign up today for a 45-minute nutrition consultation with Avery Remillard, a Clinical Dietetics graduate student from Grand Valley State University. During these 1:1 consultations, Avery will discuss your nutrition questions and concerns. This is a great opportunity for HAC members and the community to explore the benefits of personalized nutrition counseling. Topics of discussion might include general nutrition, healthy eating, promoting a balanced diet, fueling for workouts, weight management, mindful eating, and more! This opportunity is offered through a partnership between HAC Recreation and Community Wellness and GVSU’s Clinical Dietetics internship program.
Once registered, you will be contacted by Avery to choose a specific date and time for your appointment. Appointments are available on the following dates:

- Wednesday, March 26
- Thursday, March 27
- Monday, March 31
- Tuesday, April 1
- Wednesday, April 2
- Thursday, April 3
April Wellness Challenge
Join our April “Spring Slumber” Wellness Challenge by catching up on some ZZZ’s! Prioritizing sleep is especially important for muscle recovery after exercise! If you’re able to get seven or more* hours of sleep per night, for 26 of the 30 nights in April, you can enter our raffle to win some fabulous HAC prizes!
Sleep hours will be tracked by individual participants using our monthly challenge tracking handout (available at the Fitness Desk). Must register and pay on RecDesk by 4/11/25 in order to qualify for raffle entry. Registered participants must turn in their completed challenge tracker by 5/7/25 for inclusion in raffle drawing.
