All fitness classes below are listed by day of the week. All core fitness classes are free with a Holland Aquatic Center membership except where noted. Premium fitness classes are not included in HAC membership and an additional fee applies for registration.
It’s easy for members to register for fitness classes—just go to our Program Search page and select “Group Fitness Classes.” Participants may also register for single sessions if preferred.
Drop-in/non-members are welcome for a $10.00 class fee plus the facility single-visit fee. Drop-in availability is based on class sizes.

Premium Fitness Classes
Cardio Golf (Wellness Room)
Wednesdays, 6:35-7:10 PM, October 1 thru November 12

Per class rate: $15 members / $25 non-members
Cardio Golf is for both golfers and non-golfers. No ball is required, and all swing drills will be done with the 23″ Shortee Golf Club provided by Britni Beamish, your LPGA teaching professional and certified Cardio Golf trainer. Learn golf specific warm-ups, swing drills for more power and speed, fixes for swing faults, and moves for strength flexibility and endurance. This class is focused more on stretching and mobility exercises and less focused on traditional cardio.
Aging Powerfully Challenge (Wellness Room)

Let’s be real: women over 40 face major hormonal challenges that can leave you feeling out of control. But you’re not powerless! The Aging Powerfully Challenge is a transformative four-week small-group program designed to help you reclaim your strength, energy, and confidence. With practical knowledge, personalized nutrition guidance, targeted workouts, and a supportive community, you’ll gain the tools you need to thrive, now and for years to come. This challenge will be a workshop and workout session combined. Each week will be doing a different type of workout to help you understand the types of exercises that are best for women over 40 and how to modify each exercise to your specific limitations. Get ready to get strong! NOTE: Drop-ins are not permitted. Participation in the full 4-week program is required to fully benefit from the content.

Transformation Challenge (Wellness Room)

Get ready to transform your body and mind with our six-week fat loss challenge! Say goodbye to stubborn inches and hello to a happier, healthier you. This challenge is not just about losing weight; it’s about learning how to make sustainable changes to your eating habits and mindset. Throw on your most comfortable workout gear and get ready to become a stronger, fitter you! NOTE: Drop-ins are not permitted. Participation in the full 6-week program is required to fully benefit from the content.
Participants will receive a transformation challenge workbook, progress trackers, meal planning tips, encouragement and accountability, strength training workouts, customized calorie and macro goals, mindset matters, coaching, and simplified healthy recipes during these weekly education sessions.

Join Coach David for Top 1% if you’re an athlete looking to maximize your performance; you’re in great shape and looking for an extra challenge; or you’re a sedentary individual looking to get fit and take control of your life. Top 1% takes you through a series of high intensity training exercises that combine pumping iron with explosive cardio that will improve your fitness in a short period of time. Drop-ins are allowed if space permits.
Sleep Well, Age Well: A Five-Week Journey to Restorative Rest (Shark Room, 1st Floor)

Each week, you’ll explore practical strategies to:

- Eliminate common sleep disruptors
- Soothe stress and mental chatter
- Design your customized “sleep toolbox”
- Reflect, track progress, and personalize your path

Tai Ji (Wellness Room)
Mondays, 4:30-5:15pm, October 6-27 and November 3-24

Learn about the “Art of Tai Ji” and discover its many benefits when you join this class! Participants will find out how this internal martial art can strengthen your immune system, improve balance, and bring peace and relaxation, all through the flowing movement of form. No mats or special clothing are needed to practice Tai Ji. The class will be led by Chris Campbell, MTJET. Chris joins us with over 37 years of experience and knowledge of Tai Ji, plus the related healing arts of qigong (energy work) and chan (meditation). He will have you swimming in air powerfully and gracefully moving in a Tai Ji way by the end of your first class. NOTE: Drop-ins are not permitted.
