- What movie are you showing? Finding Nemo!
- Where is this event taking place? The dive-in movie will be held in the 50-meter competitive pool area. The 2nd floor spectator viewing area will also be open for seating.
- Will other parts of the facility be open? No. Because this is an after-hours event, only the 50-meter pool and 50-meter locker rooms will be open. The UCR and other parts of the facility (including the Flex Pool) will be closed.
- Is this event *really* free? Yes, thanks to the generosity of our presenting partner, West Michigan Community Bank, admission is free for all attendees. Food, drinks, and merchandise may be purchased during the event for an additional cost.
- Can my child attend this event without me?
- Children ages 12 and younger must have an adult accompanying them at all times.
- Teens ages 13-18 may use the facility without an adult; however, a guardian must come into the facility to sign a waiver and provide emergency contact information before departing.
- Do I have to be in the pool with my child during this event?
- Children under 42” must always be within arm’s reach of a responsible adult.
- Children under 48” must have a responsible adult on deck while the child is in the pool.
- Children under 54” must have a responsible adult present in the facility.
- Will there be food and drinks at this event? Yes, we have arranged for food trucks to be onsite during this event so that guests may purchase food and drinks.
- Can I bring outside food and drinks to this event? Yes,outside food is permitted; please only consume food and drinks in the 2nd floor spectator viewing area.
- Can we eat in the pool? No, food is not allowed on the pool deck or in the pool. Food is only to be consumed in the 2nd floor spectator viewing area.
- Can we bring our own floaties or life jackets? Yes, outside flotation devices will be allowed at the discretion of HAC staff and must be US Coast Guard approved/labeled. To help keep our pools clean, please be sure to wash your flotation device before arrival. HAC will have a limited number of tubes available to borrow.
- Do we have to swim the entire time? No. Spectator seating will be available for guests who do not want to swim or need a break from the water.
- Does HAC provide towels?
- HAC members receive complimentary towel service with each visit.
- Non-members will need to bring their own towels or rent one from the front desk for $2.00 each. Rental towels must be returned before you leave the facility. Black laundry bins can be found in each locker room for your convenience.
- Do you require swim diapers? Yes, children who are not toilet trained and adults who are incontinent must wear appropriate swim diapers in the pool.
