February is Random Acts of Kindness Month! Here at HAC, one way we are celebrating random (and no-so-random) kindness is by partnering with Holland Public Schools as a drop-off site for the Power H Shop.
What’s the Power H Shop? It is a very special entity that makes life easier for some Holland Public Schools students and their families. Located in Longfellow Elementary School, the Power H Shop opens once a month for students and families experiencing a crisis or financial hardship to shop for essential day-to-day items at no charge. Currently, supplies are very low.
This February, will you join us in practicing kindness by dropping off the following BRAND-NEW items at HAC? Our team will collect the items and make sure they are passed along to the Power H Shop. Here are a few items that are currently needed:
Shoes
Clothing (kids sizes)
Coats and boots
Backpacks
School supplies
Household items (cleaning)
Personal hygiene
