We are thrilled to announce some small but significant changes to our fitness class schedule that we believe will enhance your experience and help you reach your fitness goals more effectively. These changes will be effective June 1, 2024.
Seasonal Fitness Class Schedule
Starting next month, we are transitioning from a monthly fitness class schedule to a seasonal schedule. This means you will now receive an updated class timetable approximately every 3-4 months, allowing for more consistency and better planning for your fitness journey. We hope this new approach will make it easier to integrate our classes into your routine and stay committed to your wellness objectives.
Aqua Fitness Class Standardization
We have listened to your feedback and are excited to inform you that all our aqua fitness classes will now be 45 minutes long. This is the recommended class length by most certifying bodies, ensuring you get the most out of your workout. This duration will help you maximize the benefits of these refreshing yet effective workout sessions, whether you are focusing on your cardiovascular health, strength, or flexibility. Additionally, the 45-minute format will facilitate smoother transitions for both attendees and instructors, making it easier to manage class schedules and maintain a consistent flow of activities throughout the day.
Important Reminders
- Registration: To ensure you have a spot in your desired class, we highly recommend registering advance. This can be accomplished by calling or visiting our front desk, or online via RecDesk. However, if you prefer a more spontaneous approach, drop-ins will be allowed based on availability.
- Monitoring Attendance: We will closely monitor class attendance to ensure we are offering programs that meet your needs and are scheduled at times that work best for our community. Your participation and feedback are crucial in helping us tailor our offerings to serve you better.
We are committed to providing you with high-quality fitness classes and appreciate your flexibility as we make these adjustments. As a reminder, these changes will be effective June 1, 2024. Please contact Jennifer Ritsema, Recreation and Community Wellness Manager, with any questions, comments or concerns. We look forward to seeing you in class and supporting you on your fitness journey!
Stay active and stay healthy!
