In addition to our core group fitness classes, HAC also offers a selection of premium group fitness classes that are available for a limited time only. While core group fitness classes are free for all HAC members, premium classes will incur an additional registration fee. This fee covers the cost of guest instructors, specialized equipment and/or certifications needed to teach the class, and space reservations within our facility. We hope you’ll consider signing up for one of these unique and engaging activities!
Tai Chi for Beginners

Learn how to “swim in air” and find out how Tai Chi helps you release stress and tension that our bodies and minds sometimes hold by habit. Tai Chi can improve our balance, agility, and coordination, while strengthening immune system and organ functioning. No mats or special clothing are needed to practice.
This class will be led by Chris Campbell, MTJET. Chris comes to HAC with 37 years of experience and knowledge of tai chi and the related healing arts of qigong (energy work) and chan (meditation). He will have you swimming in air powerfully and gracefully by the end of your first class!
Intro to Ballroom Dancing

Join master dance instructor Wayne Applegate, with over 40 years of experience, for a fun six-week session of social ballroom dancing this spring! Be ready to learn the basics of ballroom dance, including leading and following. You’ll also learn a slow-style dance and a rhythm dance. No experience or special attire are needed; just dress comfortably (including comfortable shoes).
Cardio Golf
Wednesday, April 23, and Wednesday, April 30

Cardio Golf is a fun and engaging class for both golfers AND non-golfers! No ball is required, and all swing drills will be done with the specialized 23″ Shortee Golf Club provided by your instructor. Britni Gielow is an LPGA Teaching Professional and Certified Cardio Golf Trainer. She will lead you through golf-specific warm-ups, swing drills for more power and speed, fixes for swing faults, and moves for strength, flexibility, and endurance. Although “cardio” is in the name, this class will primarily focus on stretching and strengthening moves.
