Pools & Aquatic features
With a variety of pools, a children’s play area, and 40 lanes available, there’s something for every swimmer at HAC.
Our 50-meter multipurpose pool has options for up to 23 lanes of lap swim or water walking. It also provides a nationally recognized space for local, regional and national swim meets right here in Holland. Natatorium seating is available for 800+ spectators.
50-meter pool East
50-Meter East is used for lap swimming, team practices, and competitive swim meets. Includes eight lanes that range in depth from 6’9″ (at starting blocks) to 4′ (at bulkhead “sandbar”).
50-meter pool west
50-Meter West has up to 12 lanes used for lap swimming, water walking, team practices, warm up/cool down, and diving practice and competition. Features two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards.
25-yard flex pool
This additional five-lane pool provides additional space for warm up/cool down during meets, team practices, lap swimming, swim lessons, aqua fitness classes, and diving. Depth ranges from 4′ to 12′.
Instructional Pools
We are proud to continue using part of Holland’s original community pool, built in 1968, for daily swim lessons. Includes a six-lane 25-yard lap pool and diving well with two boards, along with stadium seating for observation.
Community lap pool
The 20-yard Community Lap Pool has six lanes for swimming or aqua jogging and is maintained at a balmy temperature for your comfort. When the facility is open, this pool is always available for members and guests to use!
Activity Pool & Lazy River
The Lazy River’s current provides gentle resistance that’s perfect for water walking. The Activity Pool is used for aqua fitness classes and Splash Time. The smaller of our two zip lines can be found here, along with our AquaClimb rock wall.
The Warm Zone
Recharge and unwind in our “Warm Zone,” which features a sauna, steam room, and whirlpool spa. We know kids like to relax too, but the Warm Zone is only for use by guests over the age of 16.
Splash Zone & Water Slide
Our children’s play area has options for all ages, including an interactive water tower, fountains and sprayers, light-up splash pad, and smaller slides. For those seeking bigger thrills, try our three-story-tall Water Slide!
Therapy Pool
Located at the far west end of our facility, the Therapy Pool is a hidden gem for physical therapy patients, aqua fitness participants, and swim lesson students alike. A small family locker room is conveniently located next door.

Fitness Center
Improve all aspects of your wellness at HAC! Access our state-of-the-art community fitness center with a single visit pass or a membership.
Equipment
- Cardio machines including treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, stair climbers, and rowing machines
- Machine weights for upper and lower body
- Free weights: 1-80 pounds
- Open space for mat work and stretching
- Individual displays with WiFi connectivity on cardio equipment
Fitness Room Age Guidelines
Ages 12-15: Limited to only aerobic equipment—use of any weight machines or free weights is prohibited. Must complete an orientation, have a parental consent form on file, and be accompanied by a parent in the fitness room at all times.
Ages 16-17: Must complete an orientation and have a parental consent form on file. Parental supervision is not required.
Indoor Track
Walk or run any time of year on our 1/10th of a mile indoor track, featuring views of the tree-lined Eastcore neighborhood, our Splash Zone and Lazy River, and the HAC lobby.
Wellness Room
Positioned above the Splash Zone, our Wellness Room offers dedicated space for group fitness classes, certification courses, meetings or gatherings, and even personal training.

Changing Rooms
Individual and family changing rooms are available. Private restrooms and showers are also provided. Free daily-use lockers are provided in the wellness area or within the family changing areas.
Towel Service
Towel service is included for members. Towel rental is available at the front desk for non-members.
Accessibility
HAC is entirely wheelchair accessible, with an elevator, automatic doors and a covered walkway entrance with snowmelt for additional winter safety. All pools are equipped with lifts and all locker rooms include accessible restrooms, changing spaces and shower facilities.

Party Rentals
Celebrate at HAC! Our facility includes two private party rooms (~15 guests each) that can be combined to accommodate up to 40 people total.
Wellness Room
Rent out our Wellness Room for your next gathering, nonprofit outing, workshop, or meeting.
